Hi Natalie. This is a great question, and one that so many people ask. Actually, there is no 'better' way to do meditation! It is really much simpler than people imagine it to be. The top tips are to find a consistent time each day, for only a few minutes to begin with. If you try to start with 20+ minutes, it becomes too difficult, and there is more possibility of the commitment tailing off. So start with 2-5 minutes, find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed, and sit quietly, just focusing on your breath. Thoughts will come, and this is to be expected. The most important thing is to let them go, and return the attention to the breath.
